Groove’N’Move 2024

Overview:
Art direction, visual identity and animation for Groove'N'Move, a festival dedicated to urban dances held in Geneva and its surrounding municipalities through events including talks, battles and shows. For the festival’s 14th edition in 2024, the visual identity centers on dancer Sophie Tracy May, whose movements are duplicated and fragmented into sequences revealing the dynamics of her choreography.

Challenges:

Developing a distinctive visual direction for the 2024 edition while maintaining continuity with the festival’s identity, ensuring the graphic design supports the imagery without overpowering the photography.

Teaser mixing performance, battle, and identity shoot footage, with motion design applied to the festival’s graphic system. Adapted across formats and deployed on public displays as well as Geneva’s public transport network (TPG).








A dedicated graphic system was developed for Instagram, differentiating each type of content, identity launch, talks, battles, workshops, and performances while highlighting key information and imagery.









Visual communications developed for the battles, tailored to a distinct audience within the festival.
